Dorchester Day Parade

Sunday was a gorgeous day for the Dorchester Day Parade, and about 12 cyclists joined us to rep Dot Bike, bikes decked out with flags, balloons, and “I bike to work” signs.  We rode/marched with other representatives from the Dorchester Environmental Health Coalition, including a crew of fruits and vegetables advocating for a food coop in Dorchester.  We handed out Boston Bike maps and blinky lights to cyclists and kids in the crowd, and had a fun time circling around our marching companions as we moved down Dot Ave.  Props to Phil for carrying that huge trailer the whole way, and thanks to everyone who rode with us!
